Two longtime Colorado garage door companies come together to serve more Denver-area homeowners

(DENVER – May 5, 2026) –  Don’s Garage Doors, a trusted residential garage door repair and installation service provider, announced today the acquisition of Advanced Door Works, a Highlands Ranch-based garage door company that has proudly served homeowners across the Denver metro area for more than 35 years.

Advanced Door Works built its reputation serving homeowners across Highlands Ranch, Arvada, Aurora, Lakewood, Littleton, Castle Rock, and the greater Denver metro area through fair pricing, quality workmanship, and dependable service that earned nearly 1,800 five-star reviews. Those same values have guided Don’s Garage Doors since 1989. Effective immediately, Advanced Door Works will begin operating as Don’s Garage Doors and will continue to help new and existing customers with their garage door needs throughout the greater Denver area.

“Advanced Door Works has spent more than 35 years earning the trust of homeowners across the Denver area, and that means something,” said Tommy Mello, founder and CEO of A1 Garage Door Service and CEO of Don’s Garage Doors. “They built this company the right way, with honest service and quality work, and we’re proud to carry that forward.”

Customers of Advanced Door Works will continue to receive the same dependable service they have come to expect, now backed by Don’s team of background-checked technicians and continued investment in training and support. Don’s has earned the trust of more than 100,000 homeowners by treating every garage door like it belongs to their own family.

“Advanced Door Works was built on the value of taking care of people the right way, and finding a company that shares those same values that mattered to us,” said Ben Chesney, general manager of Advanced Door Works. “Don’s Garage Doors has a strong reputation across Colorado, and I’m confident they’ll continue to take great care of our customers and employees for years to come.”
